Hypnotherapy helps people to make positive changes in their lives through the use of hypnosis.  Hypnosis is a natural  state of heightened awareness, frequently associated with relaxation, where you are able to, if you wish, to open yourself to suggestions and where you can make use of your imagination to help you effect positive changes in your life.

Hypnotherapy, or clinical hypnosis as it's sometimes called, must not be confused with stage hypnosis which does not always produce positive effects and is usually for entertainment purposes only.   During hypnotherapy, the client is aware of what is going on, is fully in control and can reject anything if they wish.

After an initial consultation, you will be guided with relaxation techniques until you are deeply relaxed and open to positive suggestion and change.  Hypnosis is a state of mind which is familiar to everyone as we go into and out of natural trance states in our daily lives, for example when we daydream. 

How does Hypnotherapy work?

The limitations in our lives often happen in the unconscious mind and this is why it sometimes seems impossible to deal with problems using our conscious thoughts.  During hypnotherapy, the conscious mind slows down and is able to communicate effectively with the unconscious mind.  With therapeutic techniques such as NLP and CBH, issues are resolved and this can happen quite rapidly. 

What will it cost and how many sessions will I need?

Hypnotherapy 1 session: £50

Hypnotherapy 4 sessions: £180 

The number of sessions you will require depends on different factors such as the depth of the problem and your level of motivation to change.  I will be able to give you an idea of how many sessions you will need at your initial consultation. Everyone is treated as an individual and every session is tailored to meet your specific needs.
